ComicCon 08
Well, ComicCon 08 is gone. I had a blast this year, regardless the never-ending lines to go see the panels. But I got to make out the more important ones for me like, Heroes… I sooo love that show! Also got my main plan accomplished: to see as many of the artists, illustrators and animators that I admire as possible. They are totally my heroes. Got a bunch of amazing jaw dropping-mind blowing art books and got the opportunity to have a chat with the makers. Here are some of the pictures I had. There are so many others that are not here because I didn’t have my camera ready but I got to see them like Stephen Silver, Chris Sanders, Patrick Morgan, Bobby Chiu, Pascal Champion, Martin Hsu, Gabriele Pennacchioli and so many others. Thanks to all for your encouraging words and your inspiring work.

A super talented duo Louie del Carmen and Octavio Rodriguez with his lovely lady. Check their latest work. Amazing stuff!
David Colman's animal designs are so smart and dynamic. I can't get enough of his drawings. So inspiring. And now he got some shirts also so... I had to get one.
Although the picture came out blurry (stupid camera!) It was totally worthy to post this pic. These guys are way too much fun. Francisco Herrera and Alberto Ruiz at the Brandstudio table.
If you couldn't see this up close, I'm so sorry. It was eye candy out of control.
It was a blast to meet with the crew from "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends", one of my favorite animated shows. The actors were doing voices, jokes...you name it. Priceless.
Javier Guzmán and his muse. I got his new book Glam Vol.2 and ...Wow! His work is a must have for anyone who appreciates remarkable art.

Abuelito.
Searching among my stuff I found this old picture of my grandpa and I thought of share it with you. I don’t know why he looks so scared, though. I guess he wasn’t sure if the camera had any ferocious intention of biting.
